Guide To Preschool

What it is: A gentle, beginner-reading program designed for little learners. Levels A-C: Introduces simple letters, sounds, and sight words with engaging pictures and activities. Goal: Build confidence in sounding out words, recognizing letters, and enjoying reading time. Why it’s great for kids: Short, fun sessions that fit small attention spans and celebrate small wins.

Typical age range: Most children start preschool around 3 to 4 years old. Some programs welcome 2-year-olds, while others are geared toward 4- or 5-year-olds. What matters most: Readiness isn’t only about age—it's also about social, emotional, and physical development, as well as the family’s needs and schedules.

Signs of readiness: *Shows interest in other children and activities away from you. *Can follow simple routines and rules. *Able to separate from caregivers for short periods. *Enjoys group activities and trying new things. **What to consider: If your child can manage basic self-care (like washing hands, feeding self), can switch between activities, and communicates needs, they’re likely ready to try preschool.

**Short separation is normal: Many children experience some anxiety at first, but most adapt within a few weeks. **Tips for easier separation: -Create a brief goodbye ritual (a special wave, hug, or phrase). -Leave a familiar item (like a small stuffed toy) with your child. -Start with shorter visits and gradually extend time. **Our approach: We support gentle, reassuring separations and keep you informed about your child’s transitions.

**Social play is important: Playing with others helps with sharing, practicing listening, and learning how to take turns. *What you can expect: -Structured group activities (songs, games, art) and plenty of free play. -Guided social interactions: teachers model sharing, cooperation, and conflict resolution. -A mix of individual, partner, and small-group activities to suit different comfort levels. **If your child is shy: We encourage gradual participation and celebrate small steps toward social play
